Ictus Privacy Policy

This is the privacy policy for all websites operated by Ictus Music, Inc. (“Ictus”).  In using Ictus’s websites, you expressly consent to the use of your information as discussed in both this Privacy Policy and the Official Competition Rules of the Ictus International Music Competition (the “Competition”).

Although Submissions to the Competition are made through Acceptd, a third-party document submission platform, the Ictus website may automatically collect certain data from you when you visit or browse the site.  For example, certain data is collected through a server access log whenever a user browses, reads, or downloads information from Ictus’s website. Ictus will never sell that information to a third-party company or use your information for any unrelated purpose unless compelled to do so by force of law.

When you sign up for Ictus’s mailing list, you agree to receive emails from Ictus.  Those emails allow Ictus to let you know about upcoming competitions, interviews, news, and changes to our website or policies. However, you are welcome to opt out at any time. Just click the link at the bottom of the email to unsubscribe.

Ictus will not knowingly collect personal information from any child under the age of thirteen. If you are the parent or legal guardian of a child under the age of thirteen and you believe that your child has submitted personal information to our site, please contact us immediately. Applicants under the age of 13 who wish to make a Submissions to the Competition through Acceptd, a third-party document submission platform, must do so only with express consent from a legal parent or guardian. The parent or guardian will act s the main contact point and representative for that applicant.

Ictus reserves the right to change or update this Privacy Policy at any time.  Ictus will notify Competition participants, mailing list subscribers, and website visitors of any change to the policy by means of announcements on Ictus’s homepage and/or by email.
